Refund and Returns Policy

🛒 Refund and Returns Policy – HaitianFoodNetwork.com

We want you to be entirely happy with your purchase from HaitianFoodNetwork.com. If you are not satisfied, please review our policy below for returns and exchanges.


⏳ 1. Eligibility & Return Window

  • Policy Duration: Our standard policy lasts 30 calendar days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, we unfortunately cannot offer a full refund or exchange.
  • Item Condition: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging.
  • Proof of Purchase: We require a receipt or other proof of purchase to complete your return.

❌ 2. Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale)

For safety and health reasons, certain categories of items are designated as final sale and cannot be returned for a refund or exchange:

  • Perishable Goods: This includes all food items such as fresh produce, dairy products, meat, seafood, and bakery items.
  • Intimate or Sanitary Items.
  • Gift Cards.
  • Downloadable Software.
  • Hazardous Materials, Flammable Liquids, or Gases.
  • Sale Items: Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, items purchased on sale are non-refundable.

📦 3. How to Process a Return

Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

  1. Contact Us First: To initiate a return, please contact us at contact@haitianfoodnetwork.com for return authorization and instructions.
  2. Return Shipping Costs: You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund amount.
  3. Shipping High-Value Items: For items of higher value, we highly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

💰 4. Refunds (If Applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Full Refund: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of business days (typically 3-7).
  • Partial Refunds: Partial refunds may be granted in the following circumstances:

    • Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
    • Items returned after the 30-day return period.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, please take the following steps:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  3. Contact your bank. There is often processing time before a refund is posted.

🔁 5. Exchanges (If Applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged when you receive them.

  • If you need to exchange an item for the same product, contact us at contact@haitianfoodnetwork.com.

🎁 6. Gifts

  • Gift Purchase: If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return.
  • Standard Purchase: If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
